Hun I really don't know what is best to do. Can you talk to your dad about it - or another family member? The problem with getting involved is that they may not be able to help her without her consent anyway - and would she then be mad at you for "interfering"?

However, it sounds like maybe she is crying out for help by telling you what she did about not wanting t play the game of life anymore. Perhaps you could have a quiet word with a doctor, just to ask advice about what if anything you can do???

I'm sorry I can't be more helpful. Doesn't help that different countries have different systems for healthcare, and I only know anything about the UK.

As for the driving - I am with what the others said, do your best to find a way to get your license, actively look into that and it gives your mum one less thing to stress at you over. However if she's ill, she will doubtless find something else. Try not to let it get to you - I have suffered with depression several times myself, sometimes for years at a time, and you see the world as a very twisted place and take it out on those you love. Or at least, I did!
